Cannon Timber is a family owned and operated business based in LaCrosse, Indiana serving Northern and Central Indiana since 2007. We specialize in the selective harvesting of mature timber in woodland areas.
Jesse Cannon

Jesse (owner) has over 25 years of experience buying and harvesting timber. He garnered this experience by harvesting timber in many parts of the United States ranging from fuel management practices in the Rocky Mountains to local hardwood in the Midwest. Jesse’s ‘conservationist mindset’ goes beyond harvesting timber. He is also involved with local county Soil and Water Conservation Districts where he assists in erosion control of river banks. Lastly, Jesse was part of a pilot program that cleaned miles of the Kankakee River which resulted in making miles of river navigable
Jason Cannon

Jason (licensed timber buyer) enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from 2000-2008 as an Electronic Warfare Technician. He commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2008-2023 and retired. During his time in the Corps, Jason flew AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters and was a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC). Shortly after retiring, Jason came home to northwest Indiana to learn the timber harvesting business and assist Jesse (owner and brother) with the day-to-day operations of Cannon Timber. Jason has graduate degree in management through the University Maryland with an emphasis on financial management.
Blake Cannon

Blake (licensed timber buyer) has over 15 years of experience harvesting timber. He garnered this experience by working alongside Jesse (father and owner) since a young boy. Blake has harvested timber in many parts of the United States ranging from fuel management practices in the Rocky Mountains to local hardwood in the Midwest. Blake is a Local 597 Pipefitter and is the owner of Cannon Excavation where he specializes in land clearing, erosion control and drainage.
